Sacramento Valley Spark presents drive-through art inspired by Burning Man

Sacramento Valley Spark, a Burning Man-inspired not-for-profit arts organization, presented a COVID-compliant outdoor exhibition in July—the big, illuminated pieces, the fire spinners, the mutant vehicles—so locals could enjoy a bit o’ burn in a safe way. Burners wear masks on the Playa, so that part felt like home, and people stayed safely in their cars for the entire experience. Nearly a thousand cars drove through. Summer Spark happens every year in the greater Sacramento-Rancho Cordova area.
